Dear God,
I have some questions.
Why is my love for another man a sin?
What is so unacceptable about true love?
Why did you make me this way?
And don't even say that it's a choice.
I was born this way,
Just accept it.
You apparently made me the way I am.
So why is it so wrong,
To be me?
If I could choose,
I would be straight,
Considering how wrong I seem to be about love.
Well,
I would just like to say,
That you're misleading your people.
They have it all wrong.
Take this for instance:
People are being killed,
For something that they can't control.
Brutalized,
Terrorized,
For being themselves.
For loving.
For doing something so...
Human
And apparently,
I'm going to burn in Hell,
For not doing anything wrong,
Especially since I was made this way.
They call us faggots,
Say were "possessed by the Devil",
And attack our ways of life.
What did we do wrong?
How will our marriage affect them?
The simple answer is that it won't.
Nothing negative will happen,
If we enact a God-given right.
You gave us the right,
So why is it being taken away from us?
I just want answers...
It isn't fair to be judged by hypocrites.
Fellow "sinners".
The Bible also defames divorce,
Abortion,
Premarital sex,
Pornography,
Idolizations,
Tattoos even.
The list goes on and on an on.
And all of this is perfectly legal.
But the union of a committed relationship isn't.
Now do you see,
How absolutely wrong this is?
Chaos,
Utter chaos.
Unfair,
Disgusting,
Chaos.
Over something so trivial,
Something that should have been accepted for so long,
Equality.
African Americans,
Women,
Athiests,
Everyone.
We all fight for equality.
The Constitution grants us these rights.
"All men are created equal."
"One nation under God,
Indivisible,
For liberty and justice for all"
But I don't see the equality,
Just a bunch of hypocrites.
And I will stay adamant about this,
Until we can all excersize our rights,
As American citizens,
As people.

So as you all may know, there has been extensive debate and increasing support for marriage equality. I whole-heartedly support this idea not only being of the "Rainbow" community myself, but also as a person. Well, there has been intense religious speculation of this idea, and having some sort of faith in a higher power, I can understand the conlicting feelings that society gives us. Sometimes i wish people could just understand were all the same species... But we don't and many of us just don't have the time or give a single care to think about equality.
