Chapter 1
Hinata's Point of View:
I almost trip while walking up the stairs of my friendly high school, but manage to balance myself and keep cool even though I'm blushing madly on the inside. Hi, I'm Hinata Hyuga. A junior at this school, average student, nothing really all to special. My family is luckily very prestigious, so I don't necessarily need to rely on my grades. I have a lot of close friends, even though I am soooo shy. But, I have gotten better since middle school, and I have learned to trust many people these days. I look at my schedule recently mailed to my house and see that I am apart of room 218 this year. Up a flight to the second floor and I'm basically am there after a quick turn to my right. I walk in and fix my hair a bit as my instructor, Iruka Imuno gives a friendly smile, and directs me to the growing crowd scattered about the room. I try to look for people I recognize, maybe even some friends, and then I manage to find a couple. "Hey Hinata! How was your summer!?" My uh- friend I suppose- Ino Yamanaka waves me into her ever growing possy.
Ino gives me a big hug and tries to act as if she is one of my closest friends. I just smile shyly and try to describe my boring summer. I look to see that a fellow named Choji Akamichi smiles and waves. He's is on the large side, but such a sweet guy. The social butterfly keeps talking, but I manage to smile and wave at some other friends. Rock Lee is an odd looking person, but a very dedicated and honest person who just needs to get a haircut and trim his eyebrows... Haha. Kiba Inuzuka, my boyfriend comes and gives me a big kiss, I blush, but don't let go, giving me a mixed applause of awws, and when the hell did this happen? Kiba was one of my perks over the summer. Anyways, let's skip to lunch...
I find myself to my table from last year as Kiba gently holds mu hand. I find that two of my closest friends, Neji Hyuga and Tenten are cooing each other at our table. We sit down as Kiba tells them to get a room. "You two should do the same! haha" Tenten gets a crack out of Kiba, but Neji stares at her in stern. Although he is my cousin, he is more like an older brother, although he is just a year older than me. Soon Lee sits down with a smile and Shino Aburame, a silent and shadowy fellow, but a friend all the same sits down and gives a sly glare between his shades. "Hey guys, how was your summers?" Lee asks. Everyone tells the tales of their lively summers, even Kiba makes his' seems interesting, although he spent most of it with boring old me and his cute dog, Akamaru. Shino even speaks for a bit as I sort of draw a blank with some disappointed looks as a response. "So, Shino, how do you like the honors class this year?" Neji asks nicely with his arm around Tenten. "It's okay I guess. At least you're there to make things seem sane." Along with Neji and Shino, Sakura Haruno, Shikamaru Nara, and Sasuke Uchiha hail a seat in that prestigious class. Me, Kiba, Lee, Choji, and Ino are in the average class. "All of you guys are so lucky! I am stuck with that freak Sai and that idiot Naruto! ugh!" Tenten exclaims in utter disgust. So I guess her, Naruto, and Sai are in the other average class. Everyone looks at their table and sends their condolences, even Neji, who is a close friend of Naruto gives his remarks to his girlfriend.
Naruto, Sai, Ino, Sakura, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Choji all sit together and enjoy lunch together. I can see Naruto sulking at Saskura and Sasuke kissing. Ino and Shikamaru are kissing too. Weird, since when did the go public? Anyways, I take a look at Nauto again. I had the biggest crush on him in freshman year... Odd, I'm getting that feeling again. I see him glare for a second at me with his dreamy, ice blue eyes, but he smirks and does a small wave. He actually noticed me. At that moment, I realized that I no longer wanted to be in Kiba's arms. The feelings of my freshman year start to bubble up again after being locked away for so long. Although Kiba is so amazing and wonderful, I still want to ask Naruto Uzumaki to be mine...
